Hello,
I installed Egigeozone on my phone.
It works fine but I am a bit puzzled how to trigger a google link displaying a text, upon driving into a zone and make it the text that the link leads to dissappear when driving out of the zone.
I made the link from with google doc app and tested it with my android phone.
It works fine in itself. When anyone clicks on this link it displays the text on the android device that I installed the EgiGeoZone on.
Can anyone set me on the way how the triggering process is programmed?

So you want to call a link whith EgiGeoZone on your smartphone when entering a zone and display a text on a sconde device, like a tablet. When exiting the zone you want the text to be deleted on the tablet.
Is it correct? When yes, then you need a home automation server software like FHEM, which can do such things.

In EgiGeoZone you have to set the Fhem URL in a server profile and then selected that server profile in the defined zone.
If you want to make it in an other way, you can set the entering URL and the exiting URL in an server profile to trigger something. Then you don´t need the Fhem link.

Actually, best if it could be done on the same device, ideally an android tablet (or if this is not possible an android smartphone).
This device would be in the car with EgiGeoZone installed and would have to display the text when driving into a geozone and should start google maps directions again when driving out of the geozone.
If you want to make it in an other way, you can set the entering URL and the exiting URL in an server profile to trigger something.
This other way would do fine.
It is just not clear to me, for this method, how the actual triggering is done?

In any case you will need a server with a software to do what you want.
The App is only reporting to the server an entering or exiting. The rest ist the work of the server software. Maybe Fhem :-) For Fhem, please ask in the Fhem forum.
Or somebody is programming for you an EgiGeoZone Plugin to achieve what you want.
